Billy will be offline Monday April 28 thru Friday May 2. Everyone listed on the member listing as a staff member can do most things members generally ask Billy to fix/update, and staff members can approve pending board accounts, so PM/email the other staff while Billy's away and things should still get done. Alright, so the bank is done, the registry is done, establishments are done, landlord is half way there. Once the landlord is finished, the show results database is transfered over and the staff control panel is transfered & updated, we will officially re-open! After we re-open, I still have lots of projects planned, including messaging, university and more! Check out the community for more details on that, and to put your suggestions in!

Alright, so it's been a while since someone actually posted something here! We haven't been sleeping, I promise! Homework has slowed renovations down considerably, but I do entirely intend to finish the new coding as soon as possible! Current members have access to creditless horse & dog registration (PM me if you need the link again!) No one can login to the main site right now, please don't panic! You'll be able to when the renovations are complete. If you could login, here's what's complete & incomplete:

RS is being renovated! When the game "reopens," the following are new things you can expect:
The rules are being rewritten now to accommodate these additions. Currently existing members may continue or restart (see my post on the community for details) and unclaimed animals in the old registry will be dealt with appropriately. To view the old registry, go here: Old Guest Portal

Well, that didn't take nearly as long as I expected! I got a new laptop, so I'm back online. Fortunately all the RS records were on my flash drive, so we still have a back up. Unfortunately, all my graphics stuff is lost. I have the softwear, but the pictures are gone *tear* so there will be no visual updates to the website on the current layout.

Bad news, my computer died! I'll be able to borrow my Mom's from time to time, but until I either get mine fixed or replaced, my online time will be extremely limited and I will NOT be updating any websites.

We are undergoing renovations! Viewing the registry, establishments, etc. is still possible through the "View Portal," and the bank is still online. Registration of animals, establishments, etc. is temporarily unavailable. Create/Breed/etc. as usual, just don't forget to submit them to the database when we're all back up!

Guests (anyone not logged in) may now view our database information, including the registry, our establishments and our show results, and search the registry & show results. We also have a board that is open to guest posting to allow all sim buy backs holders to easily notify the staff that they have reclaimed animals so that we can export them from the registry. This addition was inspired by a discussion on the all sim arena, and I'd like to thank Calista & Pia for their public thoughts.

A bit late, yes, but I just want to make sure everyone knows that they got paid on the 1st and that you should check your activity points so you get the biggest paycheck you can get! I looked mine up and found I had about 450 points! It's much worth it, if you ask me! So go for it!

You MUST wait to enter a show until it's approved. If you are staff, you may approve your own show. Add the show to the calendar & make sure there are no conflicts. Reply with "Approved". All entries between the Original post & the 'Approved' post WILL be deleted!

We have been keeping track of new joinees as well as old inactive members. All members who joined prior to August 27th who have not signed the activity check thread by Midnight Padicific on Saturday September 1st (tomorrow - 3am Sept 2nd for Eastern) will be deleted and their animals sent to the HS.

Well I felt like I should post this as I am dean... Anyways, I have started th RS University on the board. I am hoping to finish tests once I get my home computer back and get it running again. I am going to transfer the paid students to these boards, but if you enrolled and didnt get a test finished but paid, you will be refunded. Just talk to me about it. If you enrolled but didnt get a reply, then you will have to enroll again. Hm.... I think that is all!

All member who fail to post on the activity check thread by the 15th will be removed from the website, and their animals put up for adoption.

Don't be scared! lol. I just thoughts I'd put a note out. Most antivirus and antispam programs such as Norton, as well as google itself in some areas, block access to any page or image with "banner" in the path (URL). Please do NOT name your layout images banner, as half of us can't see them otherwise! Thanks!

Emails have been sent to all inactive members. If you recieved an email titled "Revolution Sim: Activity Check" then you have until June 4th to register/post on the community forum. Any of these members who still haven't shown us that they are active will be deleted on June 5th. If we sent an email to you and it bounced back informing us that your listed email was invalid, you have already been deleted. If you're a member and you didn't recieve an email, that probably means you're active, so thank you! Keep up the good the work, because you (the members) are the reason that this game is doing so well!

Just wanted everyone to know that I will be working on the university soon, so you can get your degree in Veterinarian medicine, Farrier, Breeding Management, Training, etc. This will increase the prestige of your establishments, so make sure to take your tests!

Well, I've now improved our banking system once again, and I'm deep in the heart of the staff control panel project! The names of establishments and animals may now contain ' without any problems. Establishment bank accounts are inactive by default and must be activated by the owner at the bank login page. This will help avoid payments accidentally being made to establishments when the owner would rather recieve payments to their main account. The salary system is now in place! Be sure to keep your Activity Points history, total & level up to date, as the salary program pays different salary amounts based on your level. Staff members can view the history & total you report, so please be honest!

Nope, not quite done, but I have now fixed our ' and " backslash issues! If you notice any forms that ask you not to use them, please give me a shout so I can fix that. Also, when you fill out a form, and it does it's nice little confirmation message, don't worry about slashes there! They won't show up anywhere else.

Just so that everyone knows, Revolution Sim is currently under construction. I have completed the bank system and perfected our login process and security precautions. I will now be working on the registry, establishments and staff areas of the website. Last will be the forum and the FAQ.
